Peonies, peonies, peonies!

Gorgeous white fragrant blooms with flecks of crimson.  The first time I saw Festiva Maxima at the Flower Market, I fell in love.  These blooms easily stand alone, but I added a touch of mint from my garden and s. persica (Persian Lilacs-brought from Italy in the 17th Century) for a still life vignette.
